"(this is my old review from when I first listened to the album) In The Aeroplane Over The Sea” is a helluva concept of an album. There is so much going on here. It sounds to me like this was created over a couple of days because the band members just kinda felt like it, did minimal polish to make sure its listeners wouldn’t die, and put it out. I’m obsessed with it. It gives this album such a home-grown feel that I really like. I don’t know much more about the band, but this very well may have convinced me to listen to more of them. Also, this cover is surely something to look at. There is nothing I can think of that I ‘don’t like’ about this album, which is awesome. I wouldn’t put ALL of these songs on my playlist for sure, but I like them all, and for that I give this album a 4.5"
